The Turkish leather goods company is launching on the platform with the intention of growing their business and target the East Asian market.

Manu Atelier, which is a relatively new brand at seven years old, began their international expansion in 2017 when they partnered with Net-a-Porter, Selfridges, and Opening Ceremony to assist their expansion into new markets. The brand saw a successful entry into China when they launched a store on JD.com last July and has since partnered with a number of key prominent public figures in China, including singer Lai Meiyun, actress Cai Wenjing, and pop star Meng Jia.

Manu Atelier’s partnership with Net-a-Porter China will see the launch of product offerings including handbags and shoes. The iconic Cylinder bag has been one of the brand’s best sellers in the country and China is now the number-one region for Manu’s wholesale category, representing around 34 per cent of their wholesale business.

The product offerings will launch in July 2021.
