The Korean-based grocery store is building on the success of their Quarry Bar location in Taikoo Place, opening a new store in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong.
The grocery store offers a large variety of foods sourced directly from Korea including snacks, drinks, alcoholic beverages, frozen foods, ready meals, meats, kimchi, noodles, condiments and much more. The store also boasts a ramyun machine so customers can cook and eat their products instantly like you would in a Korean convenience store in Seoul.
Called the Market Wholesome Bar, the self-serve instant noodle machine allows customers to add kimchi or canned ham, called richam, to their orders, allowing shoppers to pop in for a quick and cheap lunch or snack.
To celebrate the opening of the Market Wholesome Yau Ma Tei location, the brand is giving members a 10 per cent discount. Customers can become members by spending over $200 at the store; they’ll receive the discount instantly and will also get a free box of Dongwon kimchi, one free ice cream or ice cream bar, and a chance to redeem a limited edition Nongshim Shinramyun bowl for $10.
