CHIC Shanghai and EuroShop with C-Star are cooperating

Both exhibitions - CHIC Shanghai and EuroShop – concentrate on solutions and trends for the retail business. The cooperation focuses on fashion retail in China. EuroShop is the world's largest event for retail investment and thus a must for anyone who wants to set up or modernize a store. CHIC is the largest fashion trade fair in Asia and the second largest fashion trade fair in the world. 

Conducted every three years by Messe Düsseldorf with support from the EHI Retail Institute, EuroShop celebrates its premiere on Chinese soil with the C-star, China's International Trade Fair for Solutions and Trends all about retail, in 2015. In advance of the trade fair, which will take place from May 13th to 15th, 2015, C-star will present itself already on the CHIC Shanghai from March 18th to 20th March, 2015, with an image booth. 

China as the second largest sales market in the world after the United States is recording continuous growth of shopping malls. In particular, the development of the 2nd and 3rd tier major cities is contributing to this boom. But nonetheless, stationary retail is facing a great challenge. eCommerce is becoming a competitor more and more with each year. The stock turnover in the stores is stagnating. This results in the requirement to creatively change the sales areas and their concepts. The term “Experience Shopping” characterizes the new style, which requires sales stimulating scenarios, imaginative lifestyle worlds and uniqueness in offers and design. 

The cooperation intends to make use of the synergies of the two trade fairs and show interfaces. Chinese fashion retail, which meets on the CHIC, will find exactly what he needs to impressively set the scene for brands and make sales on C-star. This includes for example hardware and software for a perfectly decorated store as well as for individual Omnichannel solutions. 

On the CHIC Shanghai C-star is its premiere teasers and deliver their own lounge the fashion trade first inspiration. The CHIC turn devotes a portion of their fair specifically the topic innovations for the POS. Thus, new ways to Omini-Channel are showing for both commercial as well as for fashion brands under the slogan FASHION FUTURE LINK. 

Additionally, they will award the FASHION RETAIL FUTURE AWARD powered by CHIC and EuroShop together. A competent jury composed of international experts and Chinese associations from the area of retail will determine the best of Chinas Fashion Shops. The winner will be announced during CHIC Shanghai in March 2015 and visualized on a special area at C-Star. 

Among CHICs 100,000 visitors at the show are the main retail decision-makers, which are increasingly looking for innovative retail solutions. But also the big retail brands at CHIC, which in some cases have up to 6,000 own stores, are permanently searching for innovations for the point of sale.
