C-star's first show day a full success

The first show day of C-star comes to an end and featured numerous highlights. In the morning, the much anticipated C-star Retail Conference officially kicked off and gave retail professionals the chance to listen to speeches of industry peers from leading retailers such as Beijing Capital Retailing Group, Montblanc, METRO, Walmart. At this industry summit, VIP retailers like H&M, Mango, Nike or Rewe were present as attendees.
Visitor masses also flooded the Designer Village, C-star's special exhibition area with a focus on Shopfitting and Store Design. The fact that C-star is the only retail trade fair in China with an area especially dedicated to Shopfitting and Store Design makes it a trade fair of one of its kind. With its extraordinary booth designs and sophisticated design concepts the Designer Village is surely eye catching in C-star's exhibition hall. Leading international design agencies are putting their most recent design concepts on display at the Designer Village: Zumtobel will show how lighting can drastically change a physical store with its LIMBIC lighting concept; Interstore, one of Europe's leading design agencies, will present its expertise on the Chinese market for the first time; UK based Shopworks will present the secret for the company's success by combining the science of research and layout planning with the art of groundbreaking retail design; and the Chinese design agency Onewe Design, which already drafted the store concepts for companies like Vanguard, Ole, and specializes in design localization for luxury brands in China, will put its latest innovations on display. Don't miss this unique special exhibition area, which you will not find at any other retail show in China!
Speaking about store design: the glamorous EuroShop Retail Design Award (ERDA) Reception Dinner is currently underway at the rooftop bar of the Kerry Hotel Pudong, where the best three store concepts will be awarded.
