Gucci Beauty opens store at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex in Sanya, China

Gucci announced the opening of a flagship Gucci Beauty store at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex in downtown Sanya, on the Chinese island of Hainan.
Conveying the House’s eclectic codes, the store design is conceived to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
Elegant yet playful, the store’s black oak flooring contrasts against its hand-painted pale pink furniture and beveled mirrored surfaces. Exclusive upholstered armchairs offer visitors a seat in front of one of two vanity-style dressers, each featuring a mirror jeweled with lights.

The store also offers an omnichannel customer experience, by integrating for the first time touchpoints such as an interactive table with educational product content and a mega interactive screen where clients can delve into the world of Gucci fragrances. QR codes placed around the store and accessible via the interactive table further add to the unique omnichannel experience for clients, who can access one-of-a-kind Gucci games and apps.
Inviting clients to explore beauty in a contemporary way, the boutique features not only Gucci fragrances but also the iconic Gucci makeup collection, which is ideated under a manifesto of beauty written by Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Clients can discover their perfect lipstick with Gucci Beauty’s different lipstick formulas at the lip bar or additionally, they can get a personalized look by a Gucci Beauty advisor at the makeup stations.
The House’s luxury perfumery line, The Alchemist’s Garden, is displayed at its own dedicated backwall in the store. Featuring nine eaux de parfums, four perfumed oils and three acque profumate, visitors can immerse themselves in the special scent story. The flagship store opened its doors on 28th April 2021.
